As many of you may have noticed, I love watching movies. I love them because I get to dive into a new world, live inside wonderful stories, and fall in love with fictional characters. There are two movies I want to talk about on this post, one that I can't wait to see, and one you probably haven't heard of before.

Les Miserables 
Just like movies, I am an avid fan of musicals. Les Miz has got to be one of my favorites, and with good reason. The songs are just so well written and the story was just so tragically beautiful. A musical-movie is coming out this December and it's directed by Tom Hopper (Academy Award Winning The King's Speech). The film features a star-studded cast from Hollywood, West End, and Broadway, that includes Hugh Jackman (Jean Valjean), Russell Crowe (Javert), Anne Hathaway (Fantine), Amanda Seyfried (Cosette), Helena Bonham Carter (Madame Thenardier), Sacha Baron Choen (Monsieur Thenardier), Samatha Barks (Eponine), Eddie Redmayne (Marius), and Aaron Tveit (Enjolras). With big voices like that, how can they possibly make it bad? 

It gets better. You know how in musical movies, the songs are first recorded and then lip sung when the scene is being filmed? That will not be the case for this movie, because they will be singing every song live. How are they going to do that? Check out this video and enjoy a sneak peak of the music of the Les Miz movie. 

To all the doubters out there, yes, Anne Hathaway can sing. She's a trained soprano and a talented actress. This preview is just making me more excited for the movie. December can't come soon enough <3 

Ruby Sparks

Ruby Sparks is an eccentric character straight from the mind of one Calvin Weir-Fields. She is a creation brought about by Calvin's dreams and writer's block. She would be his next big novel, but there was only one problem -- she actually came into existence. Whatever he writes on his typewriter comes true, whatever he wants her to do, she does it. It seems like he's in the perfect situation, but he soon realizes that it really is too good to be true. I recently watched this movie and I've got to say that this is hands down the best romantic-comedy I've seen in 2012. I recommend for anyone who wants to watch a different kind of love story. It's quirky, cute, and kind of heart breaking. Definitely worth my 190 Pesos :)
